The Theresa L. Busch Hawk Pride Award is named in honor of Theresa L. Busch, Hoffman Estates High School Principal from 2002-2010.
The Hawk Pride Award recognizes a senior, or group of seniors, promoting positive spirit and participation in activities, athletics, school, or the classroom.
Criteria
- Promotes a positive spirit which impacts others in the school community through completion of a project or in his or her day to day conduct
- Demonstrates leadership
- Represents the school community in a positive manner
- Commitment and dedication to one or more school programs
Nominations
- May be submitted from any member of the school community, including parents, students, and school staff
- Must include a statement on how the candidate(s) meets the criteria
- Email HEHS Assistant Principal Tom Mocon at tmocon@d211.org OR drop off at the HEHS main office in a sealed envelope labeled Hawk Pride Award, Attn: Kristin Thomas, Hawk Boosters Hawk Pride chairperson
Nominations are due Friday, April 11, 2025 by 2:45 p.m.

The recipient of this award will receive a plaque noting this honor during
Honors Convocation
and his/her name will be added to the Hawk Pride Award
plaque which hangs in the school.
