The Science Bowl team competes as part of the U.S. Department of Energy's National Science Bowl Program. A team of 4 players, with each player specializing in either Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, or Geology, competes in the Regional Science Bowl Competition in late January to take a shot at winning a 5-day, all-expense-paid trip to Washington D.C. for competition in the National Science Bowl Championship.
